1) How did you first get interested in filming girls masturbating and bringing them online?
I LOVE videos of girls masturbating and cumming. That is a shocker I know. However I don’t just like any videos I like REAL videos. I want them to focus on the girl and her pleasure and nothing else. On VHS and DVD I was really into the old Ed Powers series because he captured women by themselves and did it well. However finding content like that online at the time I was looking ( early 2000-01) was hit or miss and was not produced consistently or well.
At that time I was bartending and living somewhat of a counter culture lifestyle in Southern California when Billie(my partner in life and business) and I decided to have a go at producing amateur female masturbation content. I had the idea of setting up a small studio and capturing just what I wanted see and selling it online. I didn’t want to overproduce the content and keeping it real was my goal, however I also felt that the footage being well lit and using good equipment to capture it only added to the scene if the girl was comfortable and truly enjoying herself.
Yanks took off pretty quick after that and I discovered I wasn’t alone in my love of girls playing with themselves and having real orgasms.
2) As a man operating a female masturbation website; how do you maintain authenticity and add a “woman’s touch”?
That’s easy, all my “great” content ideas, lol, filter first through my female partner Billie and then through our female photographer Lily where they are modified enough to turn out to actually be great. It is that process that add the touches necessary to make great all girl content.
I would also have to say a great deal of our initial success came because of how we treated the girls at the shoots. The southern California adult scene isn’t always kind, but we were. That is because we know, and more importantly Billie knew, that orgasms don’t come from your genitals they come from your mind, so to start having an orgasm you have to feel as though you are in a safe, clean and fun environment. Having Billie and eventually Lily lead our content production has ensured the above to be true.
And truth be told MANY of our models have told us that having another woman in the room was a BIG turn on and that alone made the experience off the charts for them. 
3) What makes Yanks different from other sites on the web and in the masturbation/real orgasm genre?
Yanks is different from the overall porn world in the same way that the other sites that are featured here are, we care about the models, we care about the customers and the vendors and affiliates we work with. What differentiates Yanks from the sites run by our colleagues featured on this site I would say is perhaps a bit more of a laser focus on masturbation and a bit of an American edge (love it or hate it )
On a side note, I have lived in Australia and love everything about it. The people are great and the sense of national pride is awesome. All those things come across in my colleagues work. Yanks I believe captures the same set of passions but with a uniquely American style.
As an example a large percentage of our customers want to see orgasm contractions and hear the girl vocalize when she is going to cum or is cumming. We discussed how to capture these characteristics in our shoots while still maintaining our dedication to a natural experience. Since most girls don’t say when they are going to cum when they are by themselves or position themselves so you can see their orgasmic contractions satisfying our members requests for this content was challenging.
To solve this dilemma I spoke to Lily, our photographer and asked her what she thought. Lily is very much an advocate of the natural shoot, however she suggested is that we simply talk to our models first and we capture those attributes based upon their individual desire and willingness to “show” or “communicate” directly with the viewer. So while still natural, some girls have taken an interactive mindset with the shoot and are enthusiastic about giving the member, just a bit of a show when it comes to those two highly requested events. I believe we showcase masturbation a bit differently than the other sites within our niche.
4) Tell about your first shoot.
Our first shoot was hilarious, we were ten times more nervous than Isabella, the girl we were shooting, and she had to help us on several occasions with the flow of the shoot. She was a cute Columbian girl and came to do the shoot because the thought of masturbating in front of a couple filming her was a big turn-on.
We actually had to slow her down and stop her from cumming, for I believe the 4th time, as we needed to load another tape into the camera. I believe I had two shots of Tequila before the shoot and still couldn’t bring myself to call her bits anything other than “her vagina”, which made her laugh. And of course when it came time during the shoot to have her take off her panties and show her “vagina” I was a wreck. I think I got 100 pictures of her in her underwear and 15 after she took them off. Eventually we got better at it.
5) Your website shows a great variation in content – what is your favorite?
My favorite content is when one of our girls cum using a non-traditional manner. During our initial masturbation biography all our girls fill out before the their shoot we ask them if they have ever made themselves cum in a “different” manner or style. In 9 years online we have seen so many fun and unique ways that girls get off it is hard to pick a favorite. However I must admit I love when girls use water to orgasm. Showerheads, bathtub faucets, Jacuzzi jets, anything using water is smoking’ hot and something we try to film whenever possible.
6) What are your future plans, 5 10 years?
The plan for Yanks going forward is simply to continue to improve the quality of the content and add as much technology as possible without intruding upon its authenticity. Secondary to that would just be to get it in from of as many eyes as possible. The future on the digital content front is having a larger variety of input and output devices with the content in the cloud. I want all those output devices to be able to easily output Yanks Girls.
7) What made you want to become a part of this blog and do this interview?
That is easy. When I look at the other site owners you have interviewed they are the operators of my favorite sites as well. I suppose technically I am supposed to look at them as competition, however since I know we share members as they rotate from one to the other I view them as colleague that enrich and grow what I believe is a fantastic niche within the adult world. I was stoked to be interviewed here amongst them and want to work with each and every one of them.
